I am so excited about this bill! It's about time we increase transparency and accountability within the Department of Homeland Security. As a Republican, I believe it is crucial to have independent oversight of border security activities to ensure everything is being handled properly. Improving training for agents and officers of U.S. Customs and Border Protection is also a great step in the right direction. This bill will not only benefit our country as a whole, but it will also give me peace of mind knowing that our border security is being handled effectively.
