Energy Threat Analysis Center Establishment Act of 2023 or the ETAC Establishment Act of 2023
This bill establishes an energy threat analysis center within the Department of Energy to
- enhance awareness of threats to the security of the energy sector,
- analyze security threats,
- identify relevant mitigation measures,
- support response and restoration activities, and
- facilitate increased information sharing between government and industry.
The bill terminates the center after 10 years.

I just can't believe this new bill, it's like they don't even care about us regular folks. This whole thing is just going to make things harder for people like me, and I'm not okay with that. It's like they're just trying to push us down even further. I really hope this doesn't pass, because it's going to have some serious long-term effects on all of us.
