Taiwan Identification Terminology and Label Enhancement Act or the TITLE Act

This bill requires all federal agencies to use the term Taiwan instead of Chinese Taipei.

The use of Chinese Taipei is allowed in (1) historical context to explain China's attempt to control Taiwan through persuasion and coercion, or (2) the formal title of a federal document. Agencies must update their websites to reflect this term no later than 14 days after enactment.
